Pieces of ramble.....

Things you would never do as pedestrian that people will do as a driver.

1. Walk up behind someone so fast and so close to intimidate them out of the way.
2. After said move, yell an obscenity at them as you pass.
3. Cut somebody off in the Starbucks or Caribou line and give them the finger when they complain.
4. Throw a half sandwich down as you walk through the skyway.
5. Crowd someone into an obstacle as you walk down the street.

Things people do driving on city streets as well as when they are pedestrians.

1. Stop in the middle of the street and hold a conversation, thereby blocking the street.
2. Window shop.
3. Talk on the cell phone and wander to and fro, blocking the flow of traffic.
4. Talk to the person next to them while oblivious to their surroundings.

X-Men 3
I thought it was ok. I have seen it twice, missed the final after credits scene both times and had to watch it on YouTube.
YouTube is very addicting and I advise you to limit yourself to two or three hours. Back to X3..
It was directed by Brett Ratner, he did a decent job as it would be hard to follow in Brian Singer's (director of X1 and X2) footsteps. Brian left the X-franchise to direct Superman Returns.
The new X-movie has lots of characters and cool effects. Good fight scenes and snippets of things to make us geeks smile from time to time. It may leave first time viewers and occasional geeks a little confused as to who's who. Also the story was a little jagged. It's still very well worth a watch and has some funny parts.

12 blocks, hmn... gotta be some kind of record

Hello. Just got pulled over again tonight. I was visiting a friend in Edina and on my way home I got pulled over. I turned onto York from 76th. The cop sped around the corner behind me and then fell back and followed me for 12 blocks before pulling me over on 64th and Xerxes avenue S.
I felt like O.J. Simpson in the low speed chase. Well, it turns out that the larger part of my left tail light was out. The blinker was fine, the little red half corner piece was fine and was lit, but the larger part was out. It was a legit stop I suppose in the long run, but 12 blocks. Makes me think of a song by N.W.A.

The last time I was pulled over was December. I was on my way home from a friend's wedding on an unfamiliar road. I was in the wrong lane and the road change was coming up quick. So I put on the blinker, quickly changed lanes into the correct lane and was pulled over about 30 seconds later.
This time the cop said he couldn't tell who was driving the car. I hate being paranoid about the cops. I hate it that every time one gets behind me I am worried about being pulled over.

Following the law and being a good citizen has it's perks, but sometimes I wonder what it would be like to dance on the darkside of the force. I mean look at Vader. He could do cool tricks and scare the crap out of people, so what if his face looked like a melted cheese pizza. I could live with that if I had the power of the force.
Hey! If they could put skin over Luke's robotic hand, why couldn't Vader get a skin graft for his face? All that tech and Vader has to live with a bad complexion. Maybe Vader didn't get his face fixed as a form of penance. He was mostly evil, but still somewhere deep down inside he was the little Anni we all knew and loved from the Phantom Menace. Up yours Admiral Piet!
